2011 Disaster Impact on Japan SMBs

The massive earthquake and tsunami that pummeled the Northeast Pacific coastal areas of Japan has significantly impacted small and medium businesses (SMBs, companies with less than 1,000 employees) nationwide – not only in terms of direct physical damages but also in terms of indirect aftermath.
This perspective examines the impact of the disaster on Japan SMBs and identifies ICT products and services that they may support the recovery process.
