This CompuPharma Laboratory Module is ideal for both new and existing Laboratory employees in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Contract sectors. The Module explains how to program the dissolution equipment, carry out media temperature checks, add dosage forms and remove samples. How to calculate dissolution results and when to retest.
This is a self paced highly visual interactive e-Learning Module, with a full audio voiceover, which can be taken online. It has a 16 question multiple choice Assessment which the Trainee can perform once they have completed the module. For the Certified option, a hard copy certificate is mailed to the Trainee, once they have achieved a score of 100% in their Assessment.
Objectives:
- Calculate the concentration of active in the vessel, the weight of active dissolved and the percent label claim - Describe the different start time process for apparatus 1 and apparatus 2 - Describe the final preparation checks that are carried out - Describe USP acceptance criteria - Explain both methods of dosage form addition, staggering and simultaneous - Explain manual and automatic sampling methods - List examples of when retesting can be performed - List the operating parameters that need to be set on the dissolution apparatus
