Abstract
The ratings on Boston, Mass.-based NMH Holdings Inc. (d/b/a National Mentor) continue to reflect the company's exposure to reimbursement risk, its fairly thin free cash flows as a result of its high leverage, and its aggressive financial policy. These factors partly are offset by the company's narrow but strong position in the fragmented human services market, and its largely variable cost structure. National Mentor is focused on the human services market. For fiscal year 2007 (ended Sept. 30, 2007), it derived 65% of revenues from services for mentally retarded and developmentally disabled consumers (MR/DD), 22% from services for at-risk youth (ARY), 9% from services for consumers with acquired brain injuries (ABI), and 4% from other services, including home health services....
