We are reviewing our recovery ratings and issue-level debt ratings on King of Prussia, Pa.-based hospital, behavioral health facility, and ambulatory centers operator Universal Health Services Inc., in conjunction with our annual review of the company. Standard & Poor's Ratings Services' simulated default scenario contemplates a default in 2015, resulting from an unanticipated decline in third-party reimbursements and competitive factors. We believe that the company would reorganize in the event of a default, given its hospitals' integral relationships with its physicians and customers and its proven ability to deliver high-quality medical services to its markets.
