Abstract Standard & Poor's Ratings Services is again pleased to present its semi-annual Asia-Pacific Sovereign Report Card. As the second report card in 2006, this publication offers our views on general credit trends for the remainder of the year, outlining our thinking on factors likely to shape sovereign credit quality in the Asia-Pacific region. This report includes commentaries that provide insight into key factors that may support or threaten credit ratings this year.
