Addison is approximately 25 miles west of downtown Chicago in DuPage County. Addison is a steadily growing suburb, maintains a diverse local employment base, and has excellent rail and interstate access to the rest of the Chicago metropolitan area. The village's population grew 12% during the 1990s to 35,914 in 2000 and now has an estimated population of 38,389.
