Bank Loan Ratings Fax Service Launched Feb 99

Abstract LONDON (Standard & Poor's Creditwire) Feb. 17, 1999--Standard and Poor's has introduced a monthly fax service to arrangers, syndicators, participants, and bank loan investors within the International Syndicated Loan Market. The aim is to keep the client advised of major credit events relating to this important market, which is undergoing a period of unprecedented change. It is acknowledged that the growth in securitization, secondary market trading, credit derivatives, and institutional investor participation is impacting the structure of syndicated lending. At the same time, banks are consolidating, with the focus on return on economic and regulatory capital.
