BULLETIN: Ratings Unchanged As Most U.K. Pub Corporate Securitizations Meet License Deadline Aug 05

Abstract
LONDON (Standard & Poor's) Aug. 16, 2005-Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that its ratings on seven pub corporate securitizations remain unchanged despite the initial deadline for the renewal of existing license applications having passed and not all the pubs having applied (see list below). Our concern with the new licensing was regarding the number of applications that needed to be lodged with the local authority by the initial deadline of Aug. 6, 2005. Pubs that missed this deadline now have until the end of November 2005 to apply for a new license. Premises that miss the November deadline will lose their licenses and therefore the right to operate a pub business. We no longer consider license renewal to...
