E-Learning Module: Introduction to Cleanrooms, Function, Design and Operation

This CompuPharma Module is ideal for both new and existing employees in the Pharmaceutical Industry, who are required to work in cleanrooms. The Module introduces the concept of a cleanroom, its technological and environmental components, room ‘states’, room ‘color coding’ and airlocks.
Objectives:
- Comprehend the main sources of contamination in a cleanroom
- Discover why the design of a cleanroom is important
- Indentify the difference between a personnel airlock and a material airlock
- Know the purpose of color coded areas
- State the significance of the two doors in a cleanroom
- Understand the three different occupancy states of a cleanroom
- Understand why airlocks are used
This is a self paced highly visual interactive e-Learning Module, with a full audio voiceover, which can be taken online. It has a 16 question multiple choice Assessment which the Trainee can perform once they have completed the module. For the Certified option, a hard copy certificate is mailed to the Trainee, once they have achieved a score of 100% in their Assessment.
