On May 5th at Interop in Las Vegas, Citrix Systems announced the latest version of their WAN optimization solution platform Citrix Branch Repeater 6. This release features a new technology called SmartAcceleration. SmartAcceleration technology provides intelligent and adaptive mechanisms to guarantee quality of service (QoS) and experience (QoE). The technology enables IT to prioritize optimization by user or service, reducing costs and giving them more control over the wide area bandwidth.
