The report provides an overview of the Vietnam's aviation market, covering its size, its value and its growth. Vietnam Airlines, the national flag carrier, is still the biggest player in market share, accounting for more than 70 percent of the domestic market and totally managing international routes. As to infrastructure, due to capital insufficiencies only 2 projects will be funded by the State budget: upgrading Noi Bai International Airport and upgrading Da Nang International Airport. Both have been put in the list of priority projects 2011 approved by MOT. The report also considers some other market perspectives.
