On July 17, 2007, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services revised to positive from stable its outlook on Germany-based savings bank Kreissparkasse Miesbach-Tegernsee (KSK-MBT). At the same time, the 'A/A-1' counterparty credit ratings on KSK-MBT were affirmed. The outlook change and rating affirmation mirrors today's rating action on Bayerische Landesbank (BayernLB), the ratings on which reflect the improving aggregate financial strength and cohesiveness of BayernLB, and the Bavarian Savings Banks (BSBs) as a single economic group (for more details see related research update entitled "BayernLB Outlook To Positive On Improved Aggregate Strength With Savings Banks; Rtgs Affirmed," published on RatingsDirect July 17, 2007).
