Abstract NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's CreditWire) June 7, 2001-Standard & Poor's today assigned its double-'A'-plus rating to Albuquerque Technical-Vocational Institute, N.M.'s GO bonds series 2001 due Aug. 15, 2012. The bonds are scheduled to sell June 12, 2001. The outlook is stable. In addition, Standard & Poor's raised its rating on the institute's limited-tax GO bonds series 1993, 1994, and 1997 to double-'A'-plus from double-'A'. The rating upgrade reflects a long trend of solid financial management. Other rating factors include: -- The Albuquerque MSA's strong economic base, -- Solid financial operations and position, and -- Low debt.
