Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA+' long-term rating, and stable outlook, to Greenville County School District, S.C.'s series 2010, 2010A, 2010C, and 2010D general obligation (GO) bonds and affirmed its 'AA+' long-term rating, with a stable outlook, on the district's existing GO debt. Standard & Poor's also affirmed its 'AA' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR), with a stable outlook, on BEST Corp., S.C.'s installment-purchase revenue bonds, supported by the district, reflecting the district's general creditworthiness as the buyer and the contractual provisions that include an absolute, unconditional payment provision subject to annual appropriation.
