Abstract
The following list ranks Standard & Poor's Ratings Services' ratings, outlooks, and overall credit strength for Canadian electric utilities and generators, and gas distribution utilities and pipelines. The lists reflect ratings and outlooks as of Sept. 6, 2011. The rankings within each rating/outlook grouping (for instance, A/Stable/--) are based on relative overall credit quality.
