Traditional systems development methodologies sometimes fall short in the new business environment. In response to this problem, so called 'Agile' development methodologies have been developed and put to use. This book shows the advantages of combining the two approaches in the systems development projects. The book also presents the 'Tragile' Framework, which applies both traditional and agile development practices to enhance the development process, emphasizing the human and contextual factors that are important to the information system development projects. The applicability of the framework is demonstrated by applying it on a case study project, which is used to show the strengths and trade-offs of the framework. This book has an extensive literature review for traditional and agile methodologies, which makes it suitable as an academic reading.
