A Public sector building based in Dublin has been selected as the facility to carry out an “occupant satisfaction survey of the lighting control system and to also carry out an examination of the energy consumed by a section of lighting in the open plan area from within the same building”. Three seperate methods of research were carried out. The paper also suggests how 6no.occupants working in this public sector building felt about the current methods of lighting control installed within their place of work. A mean response from these occupants was calculated to understand how they felt about the lighting control system currently in operation within their place of work.
