Many researchers have proved that ethical climate can improve job attitudes within the organizations. Ethical behaviors have been demonstrated to be beneficial to businesses and unethical behaviors have caused significant losses. Organizations that treat their employees with dignity and integrity can attain many benefits such as increased performance and productivity, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment, etc. Therefore, every business organization should be committed to operate in an ethical manner. Failure to act in an ethical manner can result in a poor reputation of the company, loss of customers and reduced profit, etc. Therefore, it is important that top leaders of the organizations create an appropriate ethical climate within their organizations.
In this book, previous literatures in business ethics are carefully analyzed and the relationships between different ethical climate types and job attitudes are presented. All the research process and procedures are shown clearly. The Survey Questionnaires were collected from Taiwanese managers. Finally, managerial implications are presented based on the research findings.
