In last few decades ageing population is increased with a high ratio and the needs of elder persons are increasing as well. The needs of elderly in respect of technology are not fulfilling accordingly because majority of the devices are manufacturing for young generations. Same is the case with mobile phones and health care technologies. Technological innovations in Health care sector are playing an enormous role in healthy life of all humans. The role of communication technologies is also important especially in emergency situations. But the complexity of these devices is a big hurdle in adoption of these technologies as well as mobile phones by the elder persons. The focus of this study is to investigate the reasons of less use of mobile phone in the life of elder persons. We have also discovered the functionalities elderly desires in future mobile phones. This study will helps in accomplishing the future needs of elder persons, it will also helps to mobile phone manufacturers to market the products according to the needs of ageing people.
