Phenomenology of Religion Made Simple. Edition No. 1

VDM Publishing House, August 2010, Pages: 108

The focus of this book is to provide a reading designed for use in an introductory course in Religious Studies, Phenominology and Philosophy. Many books on Phenomenology of Religion are voluminous. The aim of this book is basically to familiarize the beginning researcher in religion with procedures for conducting research in religious studies. Lecturers teaching phenomenology and Religion can use it as a textbook. The book is simple and easy to follow. Each chapter can be translated into three credit hours for a core course. The exercises and activities will test the reader as he reads on. There are suggestions for further reading which the author has used as references. Each chapter is short clear, precise and to the point and it is long enough to cover the essentials and short enough to arouse the curiosity. It is highly recommended for a semesters course work in a university and college. It is recommended to all believers and non believers in the world because it is good to study religion phenomenologicaly to avoid labelling religion as the source of violence. I recommend the text book to all students taking Philosophy and Religion in any university or college in the world.
