This monograph provides a rare look at the influence of both space and time on the structure of the free-living benthic nematode community in a eutrophic ecosystem. The study considers the influence of substratum (space) and seasonality (time), and how these factors affect the observed structure of the nematode community. In addition, the study attempts to elucidate the role of trophic interactions in influencing the observed community-level patterns of distribution of these nematodes.
