The perennial leadership challenges of leading through change and utilising new information technology (IT) within the public sector, inspired this book. Reported is a leadership study of the Australian Public Service (APS) which captures the reality of the demands made on public service managers and their capacity to manage change especially when driven by effectively adopting new information technology (IT).
