Nowadays is characterized by tight competition, customers' higher requirements to quality, and rise in prices of resources. This makes companies to search continually for possibilities to raise its competitiveness. Indicators assuring competitiveness are quality, flexibility, and productivity. In this thesis, there are focused on flexibility and productivity. System approach to organization and connections between management are presented; strategy, objectives, structure and processes of the company, as well as basics for process approach are determined; productivity measures, order-handling process and manufacturing process are analysed. As a result, this thesis shows that management of productivity is very important in the viewpoint of increasing the company's competitiveness. Management of the company's productivity growth as continual process bases on productivity cycle. On the assumption of its strategy, every company has to determine its more important processes, determine inputs and outputs of the processes and determine productivity objective functions to measure these processes.
