Acute Care Nurses' Experiences with End of Life Decisions. Edition No. 1
VDM Publishing House, June 2008, Pages: 132
Acute care nurses are often to whom patients and families turn when making end-of-life decisions. A qualitative research design was used to ask nurses working in an acute care area to describe their experiences with patients and families making end-of-life decisions. Five common themes emerged from the data and were incorporated into a 37-item, four-response summated rating scale which was administered to nurses working in the acute care area.
