The demand for Organic Cotton is growing exponentially, contributing to almost every Textile product as people are becoming more Environment Friendly. From children garments to home textiles, Organic Cotton provides a solution of all our needs. Today Organic Cotton is supported by the fashion industry to an extent that fashion industry use the term Organic to create a differential advantage over their competitors since, organic cotton consume 25% less water and its free from chemicals and pesticides which gives an edge over cotton . The current figures show the demand of $4 billion in 2009, which is expected to lift up to $5.3 billion by the end of 2010 as quoted by (OE Organic Cotton Farm and Fiber Report 2009) The analysis should help shed some light on this new emerging industry that is growing rapidly, should especially be useful for the professionals working in production dealing with organic cotton moreover, is also beneficial for Entrepreneurs looking forward to do business in Organic Cotton.
