Akhilesh Chandra Prabhakar is an Assistant Professor in Economics under the UNDP since 2005. He obtained a first class M.A. in Economics,and a Ph.D. from JNU, New Delhi. He is a Member of the UN based Inter-Governmental Think Tank on the Intellectual Networks for the South. He served as a Director of Third World Social Form since 2005.
