Sheena Maxwell is a physiotherapist graduated 1983
from Haccettape university of Ankara, Turkey. She
studied Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in RMIT
University in Melbourne Australia 1999 and since then
she started her own privet clinic as a TCM
practitioner. She also has a diploma of Remedial
Massage from Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE.
Her recent study is a work of master degree by
research which evaluates diagnostic systems of
conventional and non-conventional medicine on the
clinical diagnoses of asthma. She explores
correlation between conventional measures of lung
function such as Forced Expiratory Volume in one
second (FEV1) with less conventional measures such as
airways expired nitric oxide level (eNO) Traditional
Chinese medicine (TCM) enquiry, Breath Holding Time
(BHT), and Electro-Dermal Screening Test (EDST) .She
was interested on both the integration of diagnostic
techniques as well as effect of the ray grass extract
on asthma. So she decided to use the opportunity and
put both in one study.
