Partnership is a multifaceted phenomenon operating in a multi-tiered system necessitating a reciprocal communication mechanism across and within levels. Over more than two decades, partnership endeavour has been the most prevailing ways through which initial teacher education programs have been shaped to better provide personal and professional training for and growth of educators and trainees. This book provides a comprehensive evaluation of a partnership model implemented in initial teacher education. It particularly examines the collaboration dimension of the partnership model and raises suggestions for its reconceptualization with respect to its organizational and communication aspects at the macro, coordination, and micro levels.
