American educator, philosopher and author John Dewey (1859-1952) believed that learning was a process starting from uncertainty and growing from the impulse to resolve that uncertainty. The main endeavor is to create a teaching tool where social consciousness can find a permanent place in the composition classroom. The backbone of society is afterall the people who live in it and the amount of consciousness they practice, to function in it. Only true education can some day, replace empty minds, with open ones.
