When someone analyzes history, it is mandatory that it is kept in mind no only the didactic usefulness, but also the moral obligation to learn from the mistakes of the past. When someone writes history, it is mandatory to do it in a bright new perspective from an objective point of view, knowing that he owns this to the ones who lived before him. These mandatory issues were taken into consideration when the work “EYES WIDE SHUT” was written. This somehow paradoxical phrase, ‘eyes wide shut’, points out a reality so obvious that sometimes is so easy not to see. Because many historians offer the lowest status to the history written by females, nowadays generations have knowledge only about what modern feminism is or why it is wrong to adopt such a view.
