This book is dedicated to the research of the leasing contract in Azerbaijan Republic in comparison with the situation in United States of America. The main purpose of this research is to evaluate the legal regulation and current level of leasing development in Azerbaijan. The first chapter describes the general concept and historical formation of leasing. Further on, an overview is given to legal regulation of leasing contracts in Azerbaijan: i.e. type, content, subject, parties and termination of the leasing contract. The third chapter discusses the history of leasing development in United States, as well as analyzes its legal regulation. Finally, in the last chapter, the comparison of leasing contract between Azerbaijan and United States is made based on the provided analysis of the collected data.
