The study of pharmacokinetics involves both experimental and theoretical approaches. The experimental aspect of pharmacokinetics involves the development of biologic sampling techniques, analytical methods for the measurement of drugs. The theoretical aspect of pharmacokinetics involves the development of pharmacokinetic models that predict drug disposition after drug administration. Pharmacokinetic studies are important to design the appropriate dosage regimen but it may be different from species to species and under local environmental conditions. Amoxicillin is frequently used in Pakistan to treat various type of infections.
