Administrative Perceptions of Student Motivation and
Leadership. Edition No. 1
VDM Publishing House, Sep 2008, Pages: 92
Keys to student success, leadership, and motivation are the new focus in many areas of higher education. Student leaders on campus are integrated with administrators more than ever before. As students require more individualized attention from administrators, it is important to consider how the current research is achieving positive advances in the area of student involvement. It is important to have more dialogue and research, not only with faculty, but also with administration in student affairs to figure out how to increase motivation and leadership among students. Very little research exists on the importance of administrative perceptions in the area of student success, motivation and leadership. This book takes an initial look at how U.S. administrators at different career points perceive students and how those career points influence those perceptions.
