Child labor is regarded as one of the most serious
problems of human rights violations in the
contemporary world. Millions of children around the
world have their rights violated every day and this
is of great concern for the international community.
This study will mainly focus on worst forms of child
labor in a Bangladeshi context, nevertheless also
touching upon other aspects of child labor both
positive and negative. In doing so I found it
important to investigate how a concept such as
‘globalization’ influences three important factors,
child labor, education and poverty.
The role of the government is important since they
decide the political agenda and possess the power to
make important decisions on behalf of the country and
consequently, make a direct impact on millions of
people locally, nationally and internationally. This
study will attempt to show how the cooperation
between Bangladesh and the international community is
going. If Bangladesh is to successfully achieve
meeting these goals depend upon how the country
addresses the relationship between the three factors
above, and their willingness and/or ability to act
accordingly to the challenges they meet and have met.
