This book provides the brief description of the verb morphology of Jijiga Somali. Somali is the East- Cushitic language in the Afro-Asiatic phylum. The book provides the reader with more information about Somali language and Somali people. It includes the inflectional and derivational morphology of the language. In the inflectional morphology; the tense system of the language, the aspect system, the mood system, negation and interrogative systems of the language are presented in brief, and they are supported by the original data. In the derivational morphology, it is discussed that how verbs of Somali are derived from verbal stems and noun stems. In addition the book provides the focus systems of the language. The language is unique in that it uses focus words for any utterance. So, the book may help the reader to know about Jijiga Somali and to compere it with other Ethiopian languages.
