The topic of leadership has been in focus since a long time and now a days it's an expanding field of research and has been scholarly recognized as a topic worth research and recognition. The study is aimed to find out the dominant leadership style of educational professionals in higher educational institutions using the nine-factor full range leadership model. The educational professionals include here the faculty members working in public or private universities with designations of Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. The leadership style is measured using the MLQ (5x-short) which measures the transformational, transactional and passive/avoidant leadership styles. It also includes questions regarding leadership outcomes extra effort, effectiveness, and satisfaction. Education leadership is facilitating learning activities and creating and using the knowledge. in order to find out the leadership style of faculty members the following study was conducted. The purpose is to explore the current style and to make some valuable suggestions as the faculty members nurture the future leaders and their importance cannot be denied.
