the book speaks about the common risk factors of stroke in Hebron city , based on a case control study , that has investigated retrospectively the files of Alahli hospital , looking for the prevalence of risk factors among patients who had been admitted to the hospital during the whole year (01.01 - 31.12), controls were taken to check the risk prevalence at the community , odd rations and risk values were calculated , to evaluate the effect of the prevalence of risk factors on occurrence of stroke, so that it could enable a future preventive plan, risk factors were listed upon their prevalence and their associated odd ration , and level of significance, to be a baseline for future preventive plan , that aims t decrease the incidence n Palestine , taking into consideration its unique social economic status
