Horses in modern husbandry systems often cannot follow their natural movement needs any more. This generated the idea for a movement unit in combination with a fodder place. It allows for a movement procedure that offers the possibility to a horse kept in stalls to follow the natural behaviour of grazing, similar to that seen in pastures. This simulator shall not replace the pasture; it serves to support the movement requirements of a horse within a husbandry system with limited motion possibility or in a convalescence phase. This book concentrates on the Innovation Management aspect for this invention. It describes the theory for product development and combines these basic principles and results of expert interviews about market potential in a business plan. It is a structured collection of ideas which tries to outline all the important facts for the innovation: estimations about the target market, potential marketing activities, an analysis of the chances and risks for the product as well as information about a potential organization of the commercialization process.
