Bulletin: Ratings On The Kingdom of Denmark Are Not Immediately Affected By The Change In Government Sep 11

Abstract LONDON (Standard & Poor's) Sept. 19, 2011--Standard & Poor's Rating Services said today that the change of government in Denmark will not have an immediate effect on the ratings on the Kingdom of Denmark (AAA/Stable/A-1+). On Sept. 15, 2011, a Danish center-left coalition led by the Social Democrats, supported by the Socialist People's Party and the Social Liberal Party, won the right to form government after being in opposition since late 2001. We expect the yet-to-be-formed government will pursue a strategy of containing fiscal imbalances, with an increased emphasis on revenue-side measures.
