'Abstract
The report is devoted to research of situation on market of broken stone and gravel in Russia in 2003-2010 and forecast of its development till 2015. The report contains 96 pages, including 22 Figures, 33 Tables and Appendix. As information sources we used data of Russian State Statistic Service (Rosstat), Federal Customs Service of Russia, official domestic railage statistics, sectoral and regional print press, yearly and quarterly reports of companies, web-sites of producers, as well as information databases of GS-Expert.
The first Section of the report provides information on resources base for broken stone and gravel production.
The second Section presents data on volumes of production of broken stone and gravel in Russia in 2003-2010, estimates regional and commodity pattern of production of broken stone and gravel, presents data on volumes of production of broken stone and gravel by ''TOP-20'' Russian producers in 2008-2010.
The third Section is devoted to analysis of foreign trade operations in broken stone and gravel. It presents data on volumes of the supplies in bulk and in money terms for the period of 2003-2010, data on volumes and directions of supplies of greatest exporters and importers of broken stone and gravel. Regional pattern of the supplies is also described.
The fourth Section is devoted to analyses of consumption of broken stone and gravel in Russia. It presents supply-demand balance of broken stone and gravel in Russia as a whole and by Federal Districts, estimates calculated demand for broken stone, taking into account standing of the main end-uses in Russia as a whole and by Federal Districts, estimates sectoral and regional pattern of broken stone consumption in Russia. Besides, in the part, effect of seasonality factor on Russian market of broken stone and gravel has been analysed.
The fifth Section of the Report presents price analysis. It presents data on producer’s and purchaser’s prices on broken stone in 2003-2010 in Russia as a whole and average purchaser’s prices on broken stone and gravel by Federal Districts in 2008-2010. Data on current prices on broken stone and gravel of some Russian producers over all Federal Districts have been given. Analysis of costs of delivery of broken stone and gravel by various transport modes has been conducted, and dependence between distance of railway transportation of broken stone and costs of the delivery to a customer has been estimated. The Section also analyses prices of foreign trade operations in broken stone and gravel. Forecast of prices on broken stone and gravel up to 2015 in Russia has been given.
The sixth, final Section of the report is devoted to forecast of development of market of broken stone and gravel in Russia up to 2015. It presents analysis of factors, which owe demand for broken stone and forecast of development of the main end-using branches. The Section also presents two scenarios (optimistic and pessimistic) of forecast of volumes of broken stone consumption in Russia in 2011-2015.
The Appendix presents addresses and contact information on leading Russian producers of broken stone.
