Ratings on De Nationale Investeringsbank N.V. Lowered to 'AA-' From 'AA+'; Off CreditWatch Neg Sep 99

Abstract
LONDON (Standard & Poor's CreditWire) Sept. 9, 1999--Standard & Poor's today lowered its long-term counterparty credit, certificate of deposit, and senior unsecured debt ratings on De Nationale Investeringsbank N.V. (NIB) to double-'A'-minus from double-'A'-plus. Standard & Poor's also lowered its subordinated debt ratings on NIB to single-'A'-plus from double-'A'. The ratings were also removed from CreditWatch, where they were placed on Dec. 24, 1998, with negative implications. At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'A-1'-plus short-term counterparty credit, certificate of deposit, and short-term debt ratings on NIB, and removed these ratings from CreditWatch, where they were placed on Jan. 13, 1999, with negative implications.
