Abstract FRANKFURT (Standard & Poor's) June 10, 2008--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today it revised its outlook on Germany-based household appliances manufacturer BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeraete GmbH (BSH) to positive from stable. At the same time, we affirmed the 'A-' long-term and 'A-2' short-term corporate credit ratings. 'The outlook revision reflects the group's positive track record in withstanding the challenging market conditions over the past five years,' said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Olaf Toelke. 'In particular, BSH's relatively high-end product portfolio generated stable margins over the past two years, which fully compensated for higher raw material costs and the negative effect of the value-added tax rise in Germany in 2007.'
