Abstract MELBOURNE -- Standard & Poor's CreditWire 2/25/98 -- At the request of Westpac Banking Corp.., Standard & Poor's today reinstated its double'A'-minus long-term and 'A-1'-plus short-term counterparty ratings on the Bank of Melbourne Ltd. The double-'A'-minus rating on Bank of Melbourne's US$750 million medium-term note program and the 'A-1'-plus rating on its certificate of deposit program are affirmed.
