Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'BBB' long-term rating to Jefferson Parish Hospital Service District No. 1, La.'s $119 million series 2011 hospital revenue and refunding bonds to be issued for Jefferson Parish Hospital District No. 1 doing business as West Jefferson Medical Center (WJMC). At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'BBB' underlying rating (SPUR) on the district's series 1998A and 1998B bonds also issued for WJMC. The series 1998A and 1998B bonds are insured by Assured Guaranty Municipal Corp. The outlook on all ratings is stable.
