Abstract Black Elk Energy Offshore Operations LLC has maintained stable operating performance and adequate liquidity over the first half of 2011, which we expect will continue in the near term. We are affirming our 'B-' corporate credit rating on Houston-based Black Elk Energy and leaving its 'B-' senior secured debt rating unchanged, pending receipt of additional information. We are revising our outlook on the oil and gas company to stable from negative, reflecting our view that Black Elk will maintain key credit measures in line with the rating and adequate liquidity.
