Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'A+' long-term rating to Mountain View School District Facilities Improvement District No. 1 (SFID), Calif.'s GO refunding bonds. At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'A+' underlying rating (SPUR) on the SFID's GO bonds outstanding, issued for Mountain View School District (San Bernardino County). The outlook is stable. The rating reflects our view of the district's: Participation in the large and diverse Riverside-San Bernardino economy, coupled with good income indicators; Historically good growth in taxable values, which have led to extremely strong wealth levels based on the district's market value per capita; and Good financial performance demonstrated by the district's general fund reserves that have been maintained at levels we consider...
