DALLAS (Standard & Poor's) Sept. 22, 2011-- Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA-' long-term rating to Oklahoma Turnpike Authority's (OTA) nearly $521 million series 2011A turnpike system refunding second senior-lien revenue bonds. At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'AA-' long-term and underlying rating (SPUR) on the authority's outstanding debt. The outlook on all ratings is stable. "The rating reflects our view of the authority's continued steady historical financial performance when including the added pledge of apportioned motor fuel taxes and strong-but-reduced liquidity," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Todd Spence.
