Research Update: Czech City of Brno Outlook Revised To Positive From Stable; Ratings Affirmed At 'A/A-1' Oct 11

Abstract
We continue to expect the Czech city of Brno's budgetary performance to recover with a surplus of the operating budget in 2011-2014 and small deficits after capital accounts. We are revising our outlook on the ratings to positive from stable and affirming the ratings on Brno at 'A/A-1'. The positive outlook indicates that we could raise the long-term rating on Brno by one notch within two years. On Oct. 6, 2011, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services revised its outlook on the Czech City of Brno to positive from stable.
