NY -- Standard & Poor's CreditWire 7/30/97 -- Standard & Poor's today has assigned its double-'A' rating to the California Department of Water Resources, Calif.'s $185 million revenue bonds (Central Valley Project Water System) series S due Dec. 1, 2029 and $131 million revenue bonds (Central Valley Project Water System) series T due Dec. 1, 2029. Standard & Poor's has affirmed its double-'A' rating on the department's debt as follows: -- Central Valley Project bonds series A, B, D, and F-M, O-Q; -- Water taxable bonds series C and E; -- Bonds (Devil Canyon & Castaic Facilities) series 1973; and -- Power facilities system (Central Valley Project Water System) bonds series 1986H.
