Abstract
LONDON (Standard & Poor's) Dec. 18, 2002--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today it revised its outlook on Britannia Building Society to negative from stable. At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'A/A-1' counterparty credit ratings on Britannia. In addition, Standard & Poor's affirmed its ratings on the following U.K. institutions and their related entities: Abbey National PLC, Alliance & Leicester PLC, Bradford & Bingley PLC, Bristol & West PLC, HBOS PLC, Lloyds TSB Bank PLC, Nationwide Building Society, Northern Rock PLC, Standard Life Bank Ltd., Woolwich PLC, and Yorkshire Building Society.
